What is the Vision 2030 Blueprint Process?

The Vision 2030 Blueprint Planning Process is a long-range pastoral planning process for the Diocese of Scranton. While looking proactively as the realities of our local church in the present moment, this process strives to meet the opportunities and challenges of the coming decade in order to create vibrant expressions of parish life rooted in the life of Jesus Christ.

Message from Fr. James Nash:
Dear Friends, In these challenging times as we all try to cope with the Coronavirus pandemic, Bishop Bambera had to make the painful decision to suspended the celebration of public Masses. Public gatherings need to be avoided as often as possible. Bishop Bambera said, “It deeply saddens me to take this temporary action, knowing the depth of your faith and your desire to celebrate the Holy Eucharist on a regular basis. In light of continued concerns surrounding COVID-19, and upon the advice of medical experts, it is clear that we, as a faith community, must do our part in order to help slow the spread of this virus.” The Main Site (Holy Trinity Church) will remain open daily from 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM for individual private prayer. While we will not be having Mass to the public, starting on Wednesday, we will be live-streaming Daily and Weekend Mass on Facebook and also uploading the footage to our parish’s YouTube account. For those of you who are already active on Facebook, you can find the live-stream here on the page. For those who do not have Facebook accounts, you can access footage of the Masses by subscribing to our YouTube channel. Please note: Daily Masses may not be live-streamed at the scheduled time. Weekend Mass will be live-streamed at 4:00 PM on Saturdays. After the Live-stream, it will be posted to our Parish’s YouTube Account. Not everyone who wants to attend Mass has access to the Internet. If you have a friend, neighbor or relative that you are already in close contact with, please consider visiting with them so they can see the Mass whether live or after it has been posted. We know this is not a perfect solution to this crisis, but we will do our best to still bring Mass to the faithful of our parish. Thank you and God Bless. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMYBE2niq4hrxsiqYTiNlTQ
